Our next VBS curriculum is called "Praise" and our goal has been to create a curriculum that is God-centered in every area. You would be amazed how difficult that is to do. The tendency is always to cater to kids instead of us keeping the focus on God! Can you be God-centered and have fun at the same time? You better believe it! Yes this new program is kid-friendly, but it is God-focused. Ultimately it is all about giving praise to the only One who deserves it - God! Instead of telling kids what God can do for them, we want the emphasis to be on what kids can do for Him. We are created to praise God for many things including His greatness, His providence, His love and His authority. What an awesome God we serve!
Please pray for us as we continue in the final stages of creating next year's VBS curriculum. We are more convinced than ever that a high view of Scripture reflects a high view of God. The thought of kids across the world learning about God's attributes and praising Him as a result keeps us motivated beyond belief. May His name be lifted high by a whole new generation!
