We haven't promoted a single to Christian radio in quite a long time. Because our focus has been on families with young kids, it just hasn't made much sense...until now!
One of the exciting things about our new "Kickin' It Old School" CD is that even though it was created to teach classic hymns to children, the songs themselves are obviously not kids songs. Because of this, we feel that this is a great opportunity to expose our music and our kids ministry to a broader audience. Getting some of these songs on the radio will be a great way to help this happen!
The first single we have released to Christian radio is "This Is My Father's World". So far it's gotten a great response, but a lot of stations are still in the "we're considering it" stage. We feel that the message of this song is one that people will respond to if they are able to hear it and we are asking you to take a listen and see if you agree!
If you'd like to hear this song, call or email your local station and let them know that you'd like to hear "This Is My Father's World" by Go Fish. If you're willing, let them know how your families have been impacted by the music of Go Fish. This would go a long way towards helping our music get on the air. Stations have very small playlists which is why you typically hear many of the same songs over and over again. That's why we're asking for your help.
One station in particular we're really working on is KTIS here at home in Minnesota. Many smaller stations tend to follow their lead when it comes to which songs to add. Because of this we're asking our friends in MN and WI to call, email, or comment on their Facebook page and ask them if they'd please consider adding this song. We're praying that they'll give it a chance. Stay tuned and we'll let you know what they decide!

One more thing I'd like to mention. Wouldn't it be cool if your kids at VBS next summer already knew some of the music because they'd heard it on the radio? That would truly be a VBS first!
Great song!! I'll definitely ask our local station here in Iowa (a Northwestern station) and see if they'll play it. So excited to get this new CD!

I saw on your schedule that you're going to be in Kirkland, WA later this month. Are you going to have the time to connect with Spirit 105.3? Last Christmas you got a lot of air time from them...
